There is a soccer field near our home that also has a couple of areas for kids to play and is surrounded by a track for those of you hoping to stay fit. Usually parents will leave their kids at the playground while they get their exercise on.
Avery is too young for me to leave him anywhere to the only exercise I’m getting is running behind boy wonder. Which is fine with me!
This week, my sister stopped by and mentioned that she was taking her little ones to the park. Avery isn’t in daycare so I like for him to get as much interaction with other babes as possible so of course we joined them!
Avery’s little cousins are 10 and 3 and having Avery around different age groups of kids pushes him to meet his milestones. With Avery seeing other kids walking, it encouraged him to walk. I’m hoping to keep up this trend so that Avery can continue to grow, develop and excel.
What other tools have you found to help encourage and inspire you little one to excel? Next up, I’m working on his language skills. I was recently handed down a lot of those Your Baby Can Read DvDs and flash cards. Can’t wait to get started!!
